This notice relates to credit card payments to the Mobile County Revenue Commission for the payment of property tax. Because you may have used our online payments, you may have provided us with certain personal information. We are providing this privacy notice to ensure that you understand what personal information we gather about you, how we use it, and the safeguards we have in place in order to protect it.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
As part of offering you our online payment service, we may obtain personal information about you from the following sources:
- Credit and other applications, form, and information that you provide to us, which may include your name, address, social security number, assets and income;
- Records retained from your prior transactions with us, our affiliates or others;
- Consumer reporting agencies, credit bureaus or references that provide us with information to verify your creditworthiness.

The Mobile County Revenue Commission does not rent or sell your personal information to outside marketers or other third parties, whether you are a current customer or a former customer. We are also permitted by law to disclose your personal information to non-affiliated third parties in certain circumstances (such as consumer reporting agencies, companies that maintain and safeguard our records and other information, debt collectors, and, as necessary, to respond to legal subpoenas and other legal process); also, these third party companies who access customer information from us are also obligated to keep customer information confidential and to use it only for specified and authorized purposes. We also disclose your personal information with your consent or at your direction.
THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We maintain security practices and procedures designed to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of our customers' personal information. We restrict and limit employee access to customer information only to those who need it to carry out their business functions, and educate our employees about safeguarding customer information and preventing its unauthorized access, disclosure, or use.
